A long time economic and political commentator notes that the Liberal government in B.C. is not leaning towards greater affordability in the housing sector

Since when is it government's mandate to manipulate housing prices? We live in a (semi) free-market economy, the government meddles enough as sit is.

So your ok with a trying to buy a house in bc Vancouver kind of sets the prices in bc. It's not cheap to live in bc anywhere houses have jumped up 30 % in the last two months . I have a 100 grand that's not even a good down payment !!! They should do something about the market .. They don't cause they all have property for sale and they are profiting on it. So why would the government do anything about it . I tell you this though people won't be voting liberals next time that's for sure .. I know I won't be !!!!
