Renting out space as an Airbnb property is a new source of income that many Canadian tenants are jumping on, but should it be cleared by the landlord and does the renter have the right to sublet the space?

Land lords, please read the story on Air BNB and couple of squatters in the US. Do not rent more than 30 days on air BNB or VRBO.

Our tenant refuses to stop renting out her room on Airbnb. We've asked her 3 times to stop. She never asked permission and the other roommates are complaining about strangers in the house. The court will hear the case and she will have to pay any income that was received for the unauthorized occupancies. I can't believe the selfish profiteering at other people's expense and safety.
