I’ve heard good things about investing in foreclosed property in the U.S. What are the best places in the States to snap up foreclosure properties? How can I find these properties?

Florida, Nevada and Arizona took the biggest real estate hit during the crash of 2008 and there are still good deals to be had compared to Canada but house prices are rising fast since the end of 2012.
Cities like Cincinnati and Detroit still have cheap homes but how long will you have to wait before properties rise enough to make any gain? A long time I would suppose? If you buy in the right neighbourhoods you can probably find good rental properties.
You'll have to search the mls and contact real estate agents who will email you listings that meet your priorities. It too is all about due diligence.
