This article was an eye-opener for me. As a baby-boomer who purchased my first car when I was 16, the concept of always factoring public transportation into housing choices has never been a predicament I’ve struggled with. Gas was always cheap enough that I just drove and my wife preferred living outside of the city. Since we’ve begun relocating to live closer to our grandchildren, I chose to list the house on (my son’s idea). I’m glad I did because it's let me talk to the people who are actually interested in my home, allowing me to portray it as more than just a statistic. It’s place where I’ve invested a great deal of heart. I’m looking for my next home on there myself.
