Most economists agree that interest rates will rise in 2015 – possibly as early as May – but property experts say the ups and downs of interest rates should never be the ‘be all, end all’ for an investor.

Rising Interest rates ? why ? Perhaps you could post a record of these 'Economists" and their track records for correctly forecasting rising or decreasing interest rates. My guess is they are not too accurate. Why May and not June or July- perhaps they could buy a lottery ticket or better yet play the futures market. LOL. NOT.
The risk in the market place is low oil and a low Cdn $, The BOC could raise to support the dollar ? but we have not seen that in several years. Unless, the FED moves in the U.S. its unlikely to see rates increase. The BOC moved a quarter point a couple yrs back and never reversed it, possible but only if the dollar gets real weak.
