    First, why do you make multiple posts?!

    Secondly, I can walk into any bank today and get a mortgage between 2.30% and 3%. Why would anyone pay 5% for a mortgage?


    Or is this ad targeted at the "ninja" (no income, no job, no assets) market? If so, it's stupid. This has already been tried in USA and it was a dismal failure.

      Well, I'm not a lender I'm a Las Vegas Realtor, if your an investor 5% is pretty good no matter how you look at it. I have a few investor buyers that own multiple properties and a conventional mortgage is not possible. They are getting hard money mortgages at 10% letting the property season for a year then refinancing or bulking the properties together to get a lower hard rate.

    @JohnnyVegas - thanks for the info. I really could not figure out how this was going on - 5% interest for mortgages when my last mortgage in Canada was 2.4% I think. It really seemed to be a scam.
    Personally, just because I don't understand it fully, I would stay away from it. Maybe when I've been doing this for a few more years....
