Real estate business requires a little market research, if you are in a metropolitan area. You will have to take into consideration the tax and financial end of these kinds of transactions.

One of the most important topics in real estate is Real estate agent. Finding a good real estate agent is very difficult if you have very less information about real estate.A good real estate agent can make all the difference. They will know the market backwards and forwards. They will have a network of contacts to help you through the transaction (e.g., contractors to get your home ready for sale, bankers to help you get the best mortgage rates), and they will be excellent negotiators. If you work with an inexperienced or ineffective agent, however, the outcome can be as disappointing as the process. I find some interesting tips on http://blog.pallspera.com/2013/12/find-real-estate-agent/. I hope this will help.

To my mind it is much better to study an issue by yourself to make a decision and not to be cheated by agencies. There is a lot of valuable information on the Internet.

@ Anna D - lots of info via Google, yes. Too much sometimes....how do you know what's good and what's utter nonsense? I do try and look for Canadian material after 2012 but even so....lots of questionable stuff. Kind of surprised at the amount of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" material when some of it has been discredited. Just one example.
