BC real estate superintendent has been soft on flipping

Claims that the BC Superintendent of Real Estate has ignored complaints about the multiple flipping of homes in the province. The assignment clause used in some contracts have been the subject of media reports recently with the NDP’s David Eby claiming that the superintendent and the BC Real Estate Council have ignored the issue. However, Carolyn Rogers, the superintendent, says that her department have been aware of the practice and have been monitoring it but noted that there had been no complaints about the practice. She said that the department launched an investigation as soon as media reports appeared claiming unethical practices of some Vancouver real estate agents.
