Economist predicts two years of price gains in BC

The housing market in British Columbia shows no signs of slowing down soon, according to Central 1 Credit Union.

The lender’s economist Bryan Yu predicts that both sales and prices will continue to rise through 2017 with the median price in Vancouver exceeding $1 million.

Low supply will put a strain on the market though at a time when Yu’s predicted continuing low mortgage rates fuel demand.
