The Real Estate Investment Network says that homes near newly-built or proposed stadiums and arenas have premiums of between three and 15 per cent.
The report shows that the positive benefits of living within five kilometres of a stadium include the additional retail and leisure facilities that are usually part of the package, but there can be a negative side if property taxes are increased in the area.
