Waterloo home sales slip in September, year-to-date higher

There was an 11 per cent drop in home sales in the Kitchener-Waterloo region in September compared with the same month in 2014.

However, the dip follows a bumper year with the first nine months of sales reaching 4,393 -- the highest level for the period since 2008 and a 4.6 per cent gain from the same period last year.

Prices in Kitchener-Waterloo were mixed with the overall average sales price rising by 2.4 per cent year-over-year to $347,633.
