Acquisition costs for investors may actually grow in 2013 despite fears of an overall price correction, with analysts suggesting now, more than ever, investors must make the most of their existing portfolios.

But doing that with the help of often-competing reports and projections can be tough. Figuring out how to leverage your assets for optimal success in a less-than-optimal market is no easier.

That why a growing number of investors are expected to turn to events like the Investor Forum in 2013, seeking out the best and brightest in the industry.

This year’s Investor Forum Toronto, on March 9 - 10, is bringing those players under one roof, to the Toronto Congress Centre, along with all-new sessions and the return of investment gurus such as David Chilton.

“I very much enjoyed my appearance at the Investor Forum Vancouver – I was extremely impressed with the quality of the questions after my speech…a sharp, demanding, knowledgeable audience,” said Dragon’s Den judge who returns to deliver the opening keynote address.

Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with like-minded investors and learn from experts through networking breaks and innovative sessions that cover everything from financing to tenant law to alternative investments and property management.

The annual Top Investor Awards gala luncheon will return on March 9, honouring ten investors from across Canada in a variety of categories. This provides individual investors the opportunity to increase their marketing and joint-venture appeal as well as acknowledges the work of the top service providers in the industry. To learn more about the awards and to nominate visit http://www.topinvestor.ca/ . nominations close on February 8, 2013.

Also returning is Metro Property Group, but this time as a Platinum Sponsor.

“We’re really excited to be sponsoring the Investor Forum Toronto this year,” said CEO Sameer Beydoun. “We can’t wait to show a Toronto audience what we have to offer investors. We were proud to be part of the Investor Forum Vancouver, and from what we hear, this one will be bigger and better. So we’re extremely excited.”

Event organizer Chris Davis bills Investor Forum Toronto as like no other conference of its kind.

“There’s no other event in Canada that brings together this many independent experts from all across the country,” says Davis. “In terms of the sheer volume of content, the event will host the best experts, speakers, journalists and analysts to give investors an unbiased, comprehensive outlook of the investing landscape in 2013.”

Early Bird passes are now on sale. To learn more about the conference agenda and featured speakers, please visit http://toronto.theinvestorforum.ca.
