Best U.S. cities to invest in retirement market

Investors looking to tap into the growing U.S. retirement market should broaden their horizons, looking past traditional destinations such as Arizona and Florida, according to a new report.

Livability.com’s Best Places to Retire 2014 named cities in Missouri, Tennessee and Washington to the top of its list.

  4. Largo, Fla.
  5. Wheat Ridge, Colo.
  6. Honolulu, Hawaii
  7. Albuquerque, N.M.
  8. Tucson, Ariz.
  9. Missoula, Mont.
  10. Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
The report says these cities offer access to affordable and quality health care, practical cost of living, retiree-friendly businesses and services, as well as several amenities to help keep residents active.
