Of 39 countries surveyed, Canada had the highest score on investment transaction activity and on investment bidders per country, scoring 93 and 96 respectively out of 100 on the survey reflecting the fourth quarter of 2010.
“Investment demand and number of bidders per property have been increasing for several quarters,” said the RICS report.
A recovery in occupier markets has also continued in Canada, and tenant demand recorded strong growth in the fourth quarter.
On a global scale, international commercial markets in emerging economies continue to outperform those in more advanced economies, however, said the report.
