Major developer to add more townhouses in Edmonton

A new 126-unit townhouse complex in Edmonton’s Aurora neighbourhood is slated to begin construction in June 2019, leading developer Mattamy Homes announced.

Purchased for $5.6 million, the 6-acre property will see the erection of a complex of 3-story, rear-lane townhouses.

Sales of the move-in-ready homes are expected to start on September 2019.

“We’re excited about creating something special for homeowners in southeast Edmonton,” according to Don Barrineau, president of Mattamy’s Alberta division. “These townhomes will showcase Mattamy’s signature design style and will add a real architectural flair to the Aurora neighbourhood.”

“Overall we think it’s a great example of the enthusiasm we have for the Edmonton real estate market and how committed we are to a long and prosperous future here.”
