The VillaNova project by Les Développements Lachine Est Inc. has recently announced the construction of three 10-storey towers in Montreal.

The structures will add a total of 177 new condos and a 22,000 square-foot commercial ground floor to the bustling Montreal real estate market.

With the first units slated to be available by September 2019, the towers will feature residential units that come with state-of-the-art smart home technologies, as well as gardening opportunities on the patios “to support urban living on the water’s edge where residents will participate in a circular economy,” the developer stated in its news release.

“This project meets real needs. It reconciles the high demand for easy access to public transit with the desire for larger homes to offer the best living spaces for people looking to move to Montreal,” according to Didier Heckel, Director of Planning and Building Development at Les Développements Lachine Est Inc.

The VillaNova project, which aims to create a new community of more than 4,000 homes, is located at the intersection of the historic Lachine Canal locks and Lachine Est station. This will be ideally situated to help residents reach downtown Montreal in less than 20 minutes.
