An investment opportunity with a difference

When ROi Developments decided to build a brand new 27 unit condominium development in Kitchener, the company was determined to create a perfect living environment for tenants and an ideal investment opportunity for investors.

Located in the Kitchener’s burgeoning west end, the development – named Signature West – is nestled away from the hustle and noise of the city but within walking distance of everything a tenant could need.  Signature West is close to the picturesque Mausser Park and just minutes away from coffee shops, local eateries, grocery stores, the Sunrise Shopping Centre and Stanley Park Mall. The CORE lifestyle and Recreation Complex is in close proximity, as is Forest Heights Indoor Pool, Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre and The Aud, where locals can take in a show, catch a game or indulge in some boutique shopping.

“It is located just off the highway and is right on the LRT system, so transport links are brilliant,” says Kirin Singh, Vice President, ROi Developments. “The development is in a really nice, mature community. I took an investor there last week and she was under the impression it was going to be in an industrial area, but there are already nice houses, parks and schools in the area. The neighbourhood also includes an eclectic mix of dining, live music, theatre, museums and shopping.”

Kitchener is without doubt a city on the rise and that played a key decision in Singh’s decision to choose it as the location for Signature West. People are being priced out of the Toronto and GTA markets, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to enjoy a busy, urban lifestyle.

“The Arts and Cultural district and the cool creative communities are really growing here in Kitchener, it’s no surprise that more people are moving here,” she says. “In fact, another 12 unit building is being constructed just down the street. Being a part of change in this city is really exciting. There is a feeling that Kitchener is the place to be.”
