BCREA appoints new chief executive

Darlene K. Hyde has been appointed chief executive of the British Columbia Real Estate Association by its board of directors.

She most recently completed an 8-year tenure as the executive director of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association of Metro Vancouver (NAIOP Vancouver).

“Darlene brings a wealth of industry and association management leadership to this role,” said BCREA President Jim Stewart. “Our board is confident Darlene will ensure the Association focuses on key provincial issues that impact REALTORS® and our clients.”

Ms. Hyde will take up her new role from January 22, 2018.
