Quebec real estate agents to get enhanced Centris tools

Centris has extended its partnership with Local Logic to add new tools to the Quebec listing system.

Local Logic is a Montreal startup which has been in partnership with Centris for 18 months during which its information on crucial buying factors such as nearby transport, accessibility to services, ambient sound levels and surrounding businesses has given valuable insights to buyers before they visit homes for sale.

This month has seen improved data for every listing on Centris.ca including more precise location scores ranging from 1 to 10 and nearby amenities shown on a newly added map.

Users can now select among 12 lifestyle criteria – such as quiet neighbourhood, car-friendly etc. – by clicking on an icon on top right of the map and will then see areas that are most desirable in green and less desirable ones in yellow to red for the chosen lifestyle criteria.

For agents, school attendance areas are now in the agent section of Centris, helping them provide crucial information to parents during the homebuying process. Consumers will get to see this data in 2019.

“We’re proud to renew our partnership with the Montreal startup Local Logic”, says Éric Charbonneau, president of Centris. “The end goal for Centris has always been to offer more and better tools to consumers and agents to search for real estate. This partnership is a clear step forward in achieving that goal.”
